Richmond Coupons and Free Offers

  • Tourists who are planning their vacations to Richmond can get a free Visitors Guide from the city’s Visitor Center. The guide is available for download from the official Richmond Tourism website and includes information about area attractions, hotels, and activities. Guests can choose to have their visitor guides mailed to them if they prefer.[6]
  • Visitors can tour the city’s historic Monument Avenue for free. The street is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and features statues of famous Virginians, including Robert E. Lee.[7]

Richmond Discounts and Deals

  • Several Richmond hotels feature “Romance Packages” for couples who visit the area. The Berkeley Hotel offers a couples’ package that includes a three-course dinner for two and a continental breakfast from $185. The Doubletree Hotel has a “Sweet Romance Getaway” that includes accommodations, breakfast in bed for two, and wine from $139. Couples can also book the “Double Bubble Romance Retreat” package at the Omni Richmond Hotel that includes an overnight deluxe stay, two bottles of champagne, breakfast for two, and a rose petal turndown from $171.[8]
  • Kings Dominion amusement park is located a short distance outside of Richmond and features multiple discounts for visitors. Guests can save $10 by purchasing their daily admission tickets online or they can save $15 by purchasing their tickets online three days in advance.[9]
  • The Metro Richmond Zoo offers many discounts on admission for guests. Seniors aged 60 and older get a $1 discount on admission, while children aged two to 11 get a $5 discount. Kids younger than two are admitted for free.[10]
  • The Richmond Entertainment book features a wide range of coupons and discounts for dining, attractions and accommodations.[11] The 2013 book features discount for Mad Science of Central Virginia, the Children's Museum of Richmond, the Ironbridge Sports Park, Putt Putt Golf, River District Canal Cruises, the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, River's Bend Golf Club and the SplatBrothers® PaintBall.[12]
