The Philadelphia Zoo was founded in 1874, becoming the first zoo in the United States. Today, it is open most of the year, except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. The zoo is home to over 1,300 animals, with new exhibits added on a regular basis.[1] [2]

Philadelphia Zoo deals allow visitors to save on zoo admission. Some of the best savings opportunities come from purchasing a zoo membership or a Philadelphia City Pass. Both of these options can allow visitors to save on admission costs. Package deals with Philadelphia hotels are another way to get discounts and deals.
