About Old Tucson

Old Tucson is a historical landmark when it comes to Hollywood westerns. Originally, constructed as a movie set for the 1939 feature, "Arizona", the site saw a rise in tourist traffic when Hollywood productions, such as "Rio Bravo" and "Gunfight at the OK Corral", were shot there during the 1950s and 1960s. The park eventually grew into a tourist destination where the spirit of showmanship from the film industry still thrived. The park is usually open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., but may vary seasonally and due to special occasions.[2] Admission for the park is $16.95 for adults ages 12 and over, $10.95 for children ages 4 to 11 and children aged three and under are admitted free of charge.[2]
