The use of most of Mammoth Cave National Park's facilities and resources are free of charge. However, fees are charged for the cave tours and camping. Mammoth Cave National Park is located in Mammoth Cave, Kentucky. The park offers cave tours, camping, and use of some of the sheltered picnic areas for a fee. Prices for the cave tours vary, with the cost ranging from $5-$48 for adults, $2.50-$24 for seniors, and $3.50 to $18 for youth aged 6-12. The price for the Mammoth Cave Campground is $17.[1] In addition to the caves located within the national park, there are also variety of caves in the local area, including the Lost River Cave, Kentucky Caverns, the Onyx Cave, the Outlaw Cave, and others.[2]

Mammoth Cave Coupons and Free Offers

  • Children under the age of six are admitted to the various cave tours free of charge.[1]

About Mammoth Cave

Mammoth Cave operated its first cave tour in 1816, making it one of North America's oldest tourist attractions. There are many cave tours available inside the park, including the Mammoth Passage Tour, the Frozen Niagara Tour, the Great Onyx Tour, Wild Cave Tour, the Snowball Tour, the River Styx Tour, and the New Entrance Tour.[1] In addition to the cave tours, there are a variety of other activities for visitors to enjoy at Mammoth Cave National Park, including camping, hiking trails, horseback riding, boating, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and fishing.[9]

Mammoth Cove is located near other Kentucky attractions, including Dinosaur World, Guntown Mountain, Jellystone Park Camp & Resort, Kentucky Action Park, Beech Bend Amusement Park, and the National Corvette Museum.[10]
