Nicknamed the "Show-me State," Missouri borders the states of Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky. There are a variety of resources for visitors to the state looking for ways to save on area attractions, restaurants, lodging, and services. These offers are typically available inside local coupon mailers, coupon books, or brochures, and online through state tourism websites.

Missouri, which means "town of the large canoes," entered the union as a state on August 10, 1821, making it the 24th U.S. state. Home to an estimated 5,988,927 people in 2010, Missouri's state bird is the bluebird, its state flower is the hawthorn, and its state song is the Missouri Waltz.
